I use my MBP as a Roon Server … I must say other computer aspects like CPU usage are pretty non-demanding (like JRMC) … and my fan speeds stay low like 2000 RPM (so they are really just idling) … and free RAM is good (currently 9 GB free out of 16 GB), unlike something like Pure Music which tends to slowly gobble up RAM. When I initially experienced the problem … I was trying to alter the Roon Settings for Video Memory & CPU core usage … hoping that it was a Roon Application setting that would fix it … I was more focussed on this as a fix as, like you say, RBM has been OK with the Intel HD3000 GPU … and you are running well with the NVidia GeForce 320m. Hi Ronnie … I actually thought yours was a simple & elegant idea … those types of ideas are often the most effective … and the most reliable… I also thought “Why did I not think of that” … plus it was definitely worth a go to save some battery life Thanks gain to everyone who has contributed to this thread … sometimes I find that I can be too close to a problem, and talking about the issue leads to a fix much sooner.Īnyway, I am grateful to everyone helping. ![]()

![]() “Less than 10% is not as effective, and over 20% causes more skin irritation.” A supporting cast of characters can also boost its efficacy. “You should look for serums that contain 10% to 20% vitamin C,” says New York City dermatologist Morgan Rabach, MD. You’ll also want to consider its concentration. Another popular one? Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, which tends to be more stable than its counterparts. ![]() “It’s typically highly unstable, so it must be adequately protected from sunlight and capped at an acidic pH.” Howe’s preferred form is also L-ascorbic acid, which he says penetrates more deeply than other forms, making it more likely to reach the layers of skin where you actually need it to work. “It’s a pure form of vitamin C,” says NYC dermatologist Joshua Zeichner, MD. You might have heard experts debating the merits of various forms of the power ingredient. ![]() With that in mind, scroll on to learn how to use vitamin C serum for glowing skin, how to choose the best one for you, and why this wonder ingredient is a key player in the best skin care routine for every skin type. In order to get maximum results, though, you’ll need these highly concentrated actives to be properly formulated and applied. “Serums typically have the highest concentration of active ingredients,” says Dr. (Think glass skin.)ĭerms will often tell you to get your daily dose of vitamin C in serum form when adding it to your skin-care routine. The end result? A more radiant complexion and smoother skin texture over time. Vitamin C can prevent that damage by ‘quenching’ the free radicals as they form.” It also inhibits a key enzyme in melanin production, so it can improve pigmentation like dark spots too. “When ultraviolet light penetrates your skin, it causes lasting damage by producing free radicals. “Vitamin C is an antioxidant,” says Kenneth Howe, MD, of Wexler Dermatology in New York City. The antiaging antioxidant is one of the few skin care ingredients dermatologists will back for its noticeable brightening, protective, and firming properties, as well as its ability to boost collagen production-which has a plumping effect. No matter which skin issues you’re currently dealing with, chances are your routine could benefit from the best vitamin C serums. ![]() I could use that same procedure to obtain BLAKE2sp hashes for the files that would result from unzipping those. ![]() The other post describes how I obtained BLAKE2sp hashes for each of the original files, before they were compressed into those. In other words, it didn’t seem to be storing up a hundred deletion commands, if I pressed Alt-D for a long time: it was only thinking that I had held down the Alt-D combination for 15 seconds, and therefore it would delete as many rules as 15 seconds would buy, at its plodding half-second pace per deletion.Īs discussed in another post, I had used WinRAR to facilitate backup onto a series of Blu-ray discs. But it seemed to keep deleting at that pace for as long as I held down the keys. This didn’t seem to speed up the rate of deletion: Excel still seemed to take a half-second or so to delete each individual rule. That is, I didn’t have to hit that key combination repeatedly it continued to work for as long as I held down the two keys. The suggestion or observation that I intended to share was just that the manual deletion process seemed to go somewhat faster, at least in this version of Excel, when I selected the first unwanted rule and then just held down the Alt-D key combination. The keyboard shortcut way of getting there faster was just Alt-O D. In this version of Excel, the Conditional Formatting dialog was available via menu > Home tab > Styles group > Conditional Formatting > Manage Rule. That was the thought that led me to compose this post. For earlier versions, it appeared that users might appreciate a suggestion on how to speed up the manual deletion process somewhat. The timing of that posted question led me to assume that Excel 365 and Excel 2021 might be, so far, the only versions with the option to Clear Rules from Selected Cells. The answer, at that point, was that there was no way around it, unless maybe someone came up with VBA to automate it. A variation on that suggestion might have been to use something like AutoHotkey to automate the requisite deletion key sequence. For instance, in August 2020, one user posted a question at My Online Training Hub, asking whether there was some way to avoid having to delete rules one at a time. That was my impression, as a long-time Excel user. It looked like that was going to fix the problem for me.īefore I discovered that option, my search led to numerous indications that users had no alternative but to select and delete rules individually. In the process of writing this post, I discovered that Excel Pro 2021 had another option, adjacent to the one just described: Clear Rules from Selected Cells. I did not want to do that in this case: I had rules in other columns that I wanted to keep. In Excel Professional 2021, that option was available via menu > Home tab > Styles group > Conditional Formatting > Clear Rules > Clear Rules from Entire Sheet. Since I had not recently changed these two columns, however, I doubted that would help.Īnother solution would have been to clear all conditional formatting rules through the entire spreadsheet. One solution would have been to just restore a backup or revert to a previous version of the spreadsheet. ![]() But I didn’t want them in these two columns. Those rules may have been fine, wherever they originated. I suspected that, at some point in the past, I had copied one or more cells from some other column and pasted them down through these columns. While working in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, I found that two columns had somehow become infected with hundreds if not thousands of conditional formatting rules. As Anastasia walks towards the bakery to give the flowers to him, she sees with another woman who she assumes is his girlfriend, and runs off crying to fountain-in reality, the woman was just a friend of his and he was simply asking for her opinion on whether she thought that Anastasia would like the flowers (and it's shown that the woman actually already has a husband or boyfriend when another man walks up to her and gives her a kiss).
